My Basketball Story

Low Angle View of a Basketball Going Through the Hoop

I have always loved sports.  I had two older brothers who I looked up to and I am sure that they probably had an early influence on my love for sports.

I played softball and basketball in junior high and enjoyed both but it wasn't until my sophomore year that I decided that basketball was the sport that I would focus on.  I knew that if I wanted to play varsity basketball that I had to work hard.  I wasn't used to having to work to get better at a sport outside of regular team practices.  Once I decided that I wanted to get better at basketball something happened.  I began to love it and once you catch the love for a sport you suddenly become willing to do what other people won't.  For me that was spending all my free time on my game.

If you are working on ball handling I recently discovered a free 4 week dribbling program designed by a profession guard trainer.  It is called "The Basement Ball-Handling Chronicles."
The program is free because the coach who made the videos is hoping that you'll like it so much that you'll invest in the program he wrote after the ball handling chronicles.  I know that if I had seen something like this when I was working on my game that I would have jumped at the chance.
